Today was a surreal & eye-opening day of Life's lessons. I went to be a part of a reading as Lysandar for A Midsummer Nite's Dream without any expectations on myself or pressure to be a "perfect actor".  I went in to just have fun with my fellow cast members during this reading & that's exactly what happened & I found it to be one of the most enjoyable times I've had as an actor. The audience loved our reading & I had people giving me feedback I wasn't expecting or waiting for.

It felt really good to be in a show to just have fun without the pressure of "performing" & this was a stepping stone for me as an actor. It reminded me that acting for me was about having fun, letting go & not about being "perfect". It's something that I have to constantly remind myself & live by in my everyday life as well - "LET GO, HAVE FUN & LIVE YOUR LIFE WITHOUT NEEDING TO BE PERFECT".
