These past couple of months have been crazy.  First off, I found myself going for Disney Resort Auditions for singers & character-look-a-likes & I learnt a lot from these auditions. There're always tons of people auditioning & they start forming a line to sign up on the audition list hours before the actual audition call-time.

I also learnt how to cut an audition song to 16 bars, along with the importance of having sheet music & dance attire for any possible choreographed routines during these auditions.  The competition at these auditions is really huge & intense.

Since acting work was slow, I got desperate for some cash, so I joined Duane Reade for a while as a part-time cashier/stock person but that didn't last long because their schedule wasn't flexible enough for me to keep auditioning for stuff, so I quit after 3 weeks at Duane Reade.  At least I made some income during those 3 long weeks of coming home with sore, achy-breaky feet & a bad back.

But work seems to be coming in now again - I just got cast into my first industry showcase called "The Edge of Comedy" at The Actors Project NYC. Hope I raise some eyebrows there & attract some potential agents.

I'm also going to direct my first play called "Nobody Heard Me Cry" by Vern Harden in the Fall & I will be in my 2nd Shakespeare Saturdays Reading this coming Saturday, Sept 25 playing Lysandar in "A Midsummer Nite's Dream".

So I'm just trying to get back into the flow of positive things hopefully coming my way again after a dry spell with work. Who knows?? Maybe the dry spell with my love life with disappear too.
